We're a rapidly growing global company expanding our UK team, and we're looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to help us make a real impact.

The Role

You'll be a crucial part of our UK growth, driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and managing accounts. With the work you do directly contributing to a positive change in the world by bringing clean energy to more people.

Our primary focus will be on the end-user market, specifically:

  • Social housing providers
  • Property developers
  • M&E consultants
  • Main contractors

Your role will cover some aspects of the above, so experience in one or some of the industries is preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Drive direct sales, from lead discovery and qualification to closing deals.
  • Become a trusted advisor in the social housing and new-build markets.
  • Manage existing customer accounts to maximize repeat business.
  • Handle inbound leads, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide sales forecasts.
  • Gather market insights to help shape our commercial direction.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Attend key industry events and networking opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years of direct sales or business development experience.
  • A proven track record of hitting targets and growing market share.
  • Ability to both hunt for new business and nurture existing relationships.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to explain complex products simply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage business.
  • A genuine desire to learn and build a career in the renewable energy industry.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the social housing or new-build sectors.
  • Experience in B2B or hardware sales.
  • Background in the solar or renewable energy industries.

The Benefits

  • Purpose-driven work: Be part of a company that's making a tangible difference.
  • Flexible working options.
  • Generous leave: 25 days of paid leave, plus public holidays.
  • Growth potential: We're growing fast, offering significant professional development and leadership opportunities.

Location: This role is preferably based in London, but we'll consider candidates from across the UK for the right fit.

If you're ready to join a supportive, impact-focused company and help us solve real problems, we want to hear from you.
