Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and driven Senior New Business Sales Representative to join our team as an individual contributor. This role will focus on selling our innovative solutions to large agribusinesses, agriculture capital management and financial management groups. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Permanent crops, Horticulture and/or Viticulture combined with SaaS sales experience. A network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of closing high-value, complex deals will be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Sales: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting agriculture capital and financial management groups to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Leverage existing networks and establish new connections with key decision-makers in large agribusiness and financial organizations.
- Deal Management: Own the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring seamless execution and excellent client experience.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to position Ceres Imaging as a strategic partner for prospective clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align solutions with customer needs and drive engagement.
- Feedback Loop: Provide insights to the product team to enhance offerings based on customer needs and market demands.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of SaaS sales experience, including a successful track record in selling to agribusinesses, agriculture capital management or financial management groups.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of agribusiness and SaaS based data analytics solutions.
- Network: A robust network of contacts within the agriculture ecosystem.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to sell complex, high-value data and SaaS solutions to large enterprises.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think strategically while executing tactical plans effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Motivation: A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive as an individual contributor.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events as necessary.
