About the Role: As we scale internationally, we are strengthening our execution capabilities and are looking for a Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning and startup of our plants across multiple geographies.Role Overview: The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities for Energy Domes industrial-scale energy plants. This is a highly operational role requiring strong on-site presence, technical depth, and structured execution capability. The position is based in Milan, with very frequent international travel during project execution phases. You will ensure that plants are safely commissioned, tested, validated, and handed over according to contractual performance guarantees.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning Strategy & Planning Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with overall project timelines. Define commissioning philosophy from early engineering phases. Ensure commissioning requirements are embedded into design and procurement.Site Execution & Coordination Lead on-site commissioning activities; coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams; supervise pre-commissioning, cold and hot commissioning, functional testing, and system integration; ensure compliance with HSE standards.Technical Oversight Review technical documentation, P&IDs, control logic, and system configurations; troubleshoot technical issues during startup; oversee performance testing and ensure contractual KPIs are achieved.Documentation & Handover Record commissioning activities; validate test reports and as-built documentation; support final handover to client or operations teams.Required Experience & Background: 812+ years in commissioning industrial plants/power facilities/complex infrastructure; strong EPC background; hands-on startup; coordination of subcontractors/site teams; knowledge of mechanical/electrical/control systems; frequent international travel; Engineering degree.What We Offer: Competitive compensation, performance-based variable, stock options, and specific travel and site allowances during assignments.
