About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant quality control principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry. Reports to the Quality Control Manager. Role location: Milans office, on site.Role and Responsibilities (excerpt) Create/review/approve Project ITPs; review/approve vendors preliminary procedures (welding book, NDE, PWHT, Hardness Test, etc.); Review/approve Inspection & Test Records incl. MRB; issue IRN; coordinate external inspectors; manage NCRs; perform inspections (VDI/NDE/hydrostatic test) when needed; provide QC support; ensure QC targets; act proactively to align with delivery dates; promote QHSE.Required Qualifications: Experience in welding/fabrication/NDE techniques; knowledge of major Codes for pressure vessels/piping/structural (ASME/EN/ASCI), Directives/Norms (PED, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO3834, AWS D1.1, etc.); CSWIP 3.1 and NDE LII (desirable); painting cert (NACE/FROSIO desirable); Italian + professional English; willingness to travel.Remuneration: 45,00050,000 gross annual salary + benefits.
