We are currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Auth Platform team. This is a hybrid role covering both manual and automation testing, with a strong emphasis on REST API testing. If you have solid QA fundamentals, enjoy back-end focused work, and are comfortable operating independently on a global team, Enverus is the right place for you.
The Team
You will join our remote Auth Platform team, responsible for the shared authentication and authorization platform used across all Enverus products. The team spans time zones with standups and team meetings in the late afternoon, around 5 PM CET.
What you will do
- Write clear, maintainable test cases for the front-end and back-end testing that can be used for functional and regression testing
- Document all the workflows and features in the application
- Manually execute existing test plans and test cases
- Test existing and new API endpoints
- Write test cases in Zephyr that can be used for manual testing and automation
- Understand application architecture and identify test cases that can be automated
- Automate the regression test case for customer workflows into automation scripts using Claude Code and Playwright
- Implement automation scripts into a continuous integration and execution model
- Develop, document, and revise manual and automation test procedures and quality standard
What skills you should have
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and writing automation scripts
- Experience in manual testing of modern applications/data
- Experience with API testing (REST)
- Experience writing automation scripts for web-based applications with Playwright or similar framework in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex etc.)
- Passionate about testing software, and the drive to push us to improve our processes, skills, and tooling to help deliver the highest quality products possible
- Good analytical skills and ability to decide what makes sense to automate and what doesn't
- Great communication skills and English speaking skills
- Experience working with remote teams and North American teams
- Familiarity with issue tracking and CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
Skills that stand out
- Experience with authentication or authorization platforms such as Auth0, OAuth, JWT, or Okta
- Experience with Grafana k6 or similar performance testing frameworks
- Experience with test case management in Zephyr
