The Role
The Logistics Planner will oversee end-to-end transportation planning and coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods. This role will manage customer orders, work closely with 3PLs and internal partners, and maintain high standards of accuracy and communication.
What You’ll Do
- Manage customer orders and load planning using NetSuite and other tools, considering factors such as geography, delivery dates, and product volume to optimize truckloads
- Develop logistics schedules that balance customer needs with load efficiency and profitability
- Coordinate with 3PLs, co-manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads
- Resolve shipment issues, special deliveries, and order adjustments through clear communication with all stakeholders
- Actively troubleshoot delivery challenges such as missed windows, product shortages/excesses, or incorrect shipments
- Maintain vendor, carrier, and customer data (delivery frequency, location, etc.) to support efficient operations
- Track all logistics transactions and reconcile pickups and deliveries in NetSuite and relevant systems
- Ensure all partners (suppliers, haulers, plant staff, etc.) report and document freight and product information accurately
- Review weekly activity and transaction performance with management and provide monthly projections as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or a related role within the food or CPG industry
- Proficiency in supply chain ERP systems, with NetSuite preferred
- Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of 3PL warehousing, logistics, and co-packing operations
- Ability to work on-site from our Philadelphia office at least 3 days per week
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
