About The Role
The Business Analytics Lead will join the Operations team to transform complex operational, customer, and business data into actionable insights—and ship those insights as crisp, market-ready artifacts that drive decisions and alignment. You’ll own dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and analytics projects end-to-end, partnering closely with Leadership, Business Operations, Driver Support, Client Success, and go-to-market teams. You will also work hand-in-hand with Engineering and Product teams to enable specific metrics/measurements, and implement data warehouse updates. As part of the role, some of your capacity will be dedicated towards client success responsibilities, as needed, based on team capacity and business needs.
This role is for a high-agency operator: someone who can go from ambiguous question → clean analysis → clear recommendation → exec-ready deck / customer-ready narrative – quickly and with a high bar for quality.
Responsibilities
Develop and help maintain analytics, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure
Design, build, document, and maintain dashboards and reporting for Leadership, Operations and cross-functional teams
Build operational insights dashboards that highlight trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain Driver Support reporting to track user satisfaction, issue resolution, and support efficiency
Develop and maintain user marketing funnel analytics and campaign conversion tracking
Enable faster, better decisions across the org, partner with leaders to define metrics, instrumentation, and reporting cadence—especially around OKRs—and translate insights into actions that improve operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and business performance
Turn analysis into market-ready communications and decks
Translate complex work into clear written artifacts (short decision memos, weekly updates, slides, stakeholder readouts) that unblock teams and drive alignment
Create inputs for exec-ready materials for leadership reviews, business updates, QBRs, and decision-making (tight narrative arc, clean visuals, clear “so what”)
Produce client/partner-ready communications: one-pagers, slides, explainers, FAQs, etc. that can be shared externally when needed
Drive strategic BizOps projects and support emerging client needs
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify operational opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and quantify business impact
Manage and prioritize ad hoc client data requests in coordination with Customer Success and Business Development
Execute ad hoc BizOps projects (e.g., market analysis, new process development and rollout, operational efficiency initiatives)
Source and incorporate new internal/external data to improve reporting and insight quality
Contribute to the long-term analytics roadmap and operational process improvements
Assist with utility client needs as directed by your manager
About You
You’re an analytics professional with strong operational instincts—and you’re also someone who can communicate like an owner. You can take messy inputs, find the signal, and package it into something people can immediately act on (a dashboard, a recommendation, a deck, a doc). You move fast, have strong judgment, and enjoy wearing many hats, including balancing internal analytics ownership with external-facing support for a client account.
3–5 years of experience in data analytics (operations, BI, strategy/analytics, or BizOps adjacent)
Advanced SQL skills (including optimizing complex queries on large datasets)
Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Mode, or similar) and building production dashboards for exec + operational audiences
Experience building/maintaining reporting infrastructure and working with a data warehouse
Proven ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations and next steps
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills; comfortable juggling priorities
Excellent written and visual communication: you can build a clean, compelling deck and write clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable working cross-functionally in both internal and client-facing contexts, with a strong sense of ownership and responsiveness
Passion for decarbonization and reducing global climate risk
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, data science, mathematics, statistics, or business analytics
Experience with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
Knowledge of marketing analytics/ tracking (e.g. GTM, UTMs, etc.)
Knowledge of time-series analysis, forecasting, and statistical methods
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation
Experience in supporting C-suite or leadership teams with strategic reporting
Understanding of OKR frameworks and metrics-driven management
Experience in client-facing roles or supporting go-to-market teams
